Thomas L. Friedman: The World Is Flat 3.0: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century
Friedman does a great job of describing the advance of technology and its impact on economic globalization. Sounds dry, but it's fascinating if you have any interest in the big picture. I observed a fair amount of this happening during my 11 years in the software biz, especially the rise of India.David Kinnaman: unChristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks about Christianity... and Why It Matters
This book documents a three year study about how "outsiders" view Christianity. If you grew up in the church, you've got to read this. If you didn't, it will tell you what you already knew.

Great for quickly accessing key word search and multiple translations. - The Museum Of Bad Art (MOBA)
A very funny site that has actual examples of really bad artwork (mostly by anonymous artists). A great waste of time when you need a mindless diversion. - Ethopia Adoption Project
This site documents the journey of Rande and Casey Butler as they prepare to adopt an Ethiopian child. - Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music
This is a very cool site that lets you design a "radio station" around music similar to your favorite artist or song. - Text of the Week
